Road construction advisory

VERNON — Road construction will start on or about Monday, June 18, on County Route 667 (Lake Wallkill Road) between County Route 565 and Glen Road West (the entrance to Lake Wallkill). Motorist should expect delays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The work should take about three days to complete, according to Vernon Police.

Once that is finished — on or about Thursday, June 21 — crews will begin work on a project on County Route 517 between Route 94 and County Route 644 (Vernon Crossing Road). Motorist should expect delays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

This job is expected to last five days.
