Skin cancer screening for uninsured

HARDYSTON — A skin cancer screening for people who do not have insurance to cover such screenings will be held Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 201 Wheatsworth Road in Hardyston Township. The screening is sponsored by the Sussex County Department of Environmental and Public Health Services, Office of Public Health Nursing.

A fee of $5 will cover the screening. Cash payment is preferred and will be collected at the time of appointment

The screening clinic is available to Sussex County residents who do not have insurance to cover routine screenings.

It is not open to residents who have comprehensive health care insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.

Pre-registration is required. Call 973-579-0570, ext. 1211 to make an appointment. Walk-Ins will not be accepted.
