John Westhoff
John W. “Jack” Westhoff died Thursday July 12, 2012 at Newton Medical Center following a long illness. He was 85.
Son of Herman and Rose (Thaler) Westhoff, he was born in North Bergen Nov. 24, 1926. He had been a resident of Hardyston Township for most of his life.
Mr. Westhoff was a member of the Congregation of Stockholm United Methodist Church. He served as vice president of quality control at Plastoid Corp. in Hamburg and then later was the general plant manager of Monroe Wire and Cable in Monroe, N.Y. Mr. Westhoff retired in 1992 from Alcatel in Chester, N.Y., where he was director of quality assurance.
Mr. Westhoff is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Sisco) Westthoff; son, Rev. Blake Westhoff of Woxall, Pa., and grandchildren Nathan and Rachel Westhoff.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 17, at 11 a.m. at Stockholm United Methodist Church, 27 Route 515 Stockholm. Interment will follow in North Hardyston Cemetery. Friends may call at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Stockholm United Methodist Church, 26 Route 515, Stockholm, NJ 07460.
