SPARTA — Where's Waldo? Area book lovers found him all over Sparta recently.
To celebrate Waldo's 25th birthday this year, Sparta Books hosted a scavenger hunt with 20 local businesses during the month of July.
One hundred children participated — including Meredith MacRae from Franklin.
Throughout the month, prizes were awarded to players and on July 31 a Waldo Finale Party at Sparta Books offered with grand prizes, a Waldo ice cream cake and assorted fun.
