Photographer John Church took a hot air balloon ride Saturday morning under perfect conditions from Newton to Augusta, along with balloon pilot Mark Fritze of Tallahassee, Fla. They, along with their passenger Susan Steer of Ogdensburg, traveled aloft in the patriotically-themed balloon The Freedom Flyer.
