Bank honors six

Oak Ridge — Lakeland Bank recently honored six employees with the Employee of the Quarter Award. Ralph Battaglia, Michele Jacobs, Shannon Mathews, Karla Parks, Vinnie Romano and Destiny Wolff were presented with the award based on nominations submitted by their colleagues.
“We appreciate the commitment and dedication these colleagues demonstrate to our customers, our bank and the communities we serve,” said Thomas J. Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank.
The following employees were honored:
Ralph Battaglia, maintenance, corporate services/Oak Ridge: Battaglia started with Lakeland Bank in 2005 as a messenger and transferred to his current position in 2007. Battaglia resides in Highland Lakes.
Michele Jacobs, accounting clerk, finance: Jacobs joined the Bank in 2000 as an imaging operator, moved to deposit operations in 2005 and transferred to her current position in 2010. Jacobs is a resident of Oak Ridge.
Shannon Mathews, financial service provider, call center: Mathews started working for Lakeland Bank in 2008 and currently resides in Hewitt.
Karla Parks, computer operator, computer operations: Parks joined Lakeland Bank in 2007 and is a resident of Glenwood.
Vinnie Romano, maintenance, corporate services/Oak Ridge: Romano started with Lakeland Bank in 2003 as an on-call messenger, was hired full-time in 2004, and transferred to his current position in 2005. He resides in Green Township.
Destiny Wolff, assistant branch manager, Newfoundland office: Wolff joined the bank in 1993 as a part-time teller, advanced to a customer service representative and was promoted to her current position in 2102. Wolff resides in Hewitt.
