Majda will be among the performers at a benefit put on by Friends of Lake Neepaulin.

SPARTA � The Grand Gala of Middle Eastern Dance will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Lake Mohawk Country Club's Grand Ballroom from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is sponsored by Friends of Lake Neepaulin, includes a buffet dinner and a show featuring a host of dancers including Majda, Mundell Fisher, of Wantage.
Majda has performed in theaters and nightclubs throughout the United States and on cruises in the Middle East and in Europe; she has performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Her hallmark is the use of swords, candelabrum and veils.
Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the door for adults;$25 in advance or $30 at the door for children under 12. Ticket price includes buffet and show.
Tickets are cash only at the door.
