    Michael R. Scully, 32, of Hamburg was sentenced to five years drug court probation, 109 days county jail, inpatient substance abuse treatment, $305 in fines and $4,094 restitution.

    He pled guilty on Oct. 15 to two counts of theft.

    He admitted to taking property from a home in Hamburg on two occasions on Aug. 12 and 13.

    Russell G. Shaffer, 34, of Franklin, pled guilty to one count of theft, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently anticipated for Jan. 14, 2013.

    Shaffer admitted that on May 6 in the Township of Franklin he stole various brake pads from JRF Tire, that had a value over $200.

    Dec. 6

    Robert Sweller, age 53, of Franklin, was indicted with false public alarm, a fourth degree crime and two counts of terroristic threats, third degree crimes.

    The case was investigated by Sgt. Kinney and Patrolman Churchwell of the Franklin Police Department.

    John L. Rowe IV, 49, of Andover was indicted with certain persons not to have weapons, a second degree crime, burglary, a third degree crime, criminal trespass, a fourth degree crime, and contempt, a fourth degree crime.

    The case was investigated by Sgt. G. Mariani of the Byram Police Department and Patrolman D’Onofrio of the Byram Police Department.

    Amanda Erianne-Walters, 53, of Newton was indicted with credit card theft, a fourth degree crime. The case was investigated by Det. Thomas Tosti of the Newton Police Department.



    Dec. 7

    Gregory Nemecek, 27, of Stockholm was sentenced to three years probation and loss of driver’s license for one year.

    He admitted that he was stopped for driving while suspended on Aug. 17 and had ten small bags of cocaine.

    Tina Cafarelli, 40, of Newton was sentenced to four years probation and suspended driver’s license for six months.

    She pled guilty on Sept. 24 to two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, third degree crimes.

    She admitted that she delivered on two occasions four to five bags of cocaine to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.

    James Berry, 31, of Florida, NY, was sentenced to three years probation.

    He pled guilty on Sept. 24 to forgery, a third degree crime.

    He admitted that he took checks belonging to another, forging the owner’s signature and cashing them for himself between May 24 and July 2 in Vernon.

    Bridget Kellam, 35, of Matamoras, PA, was sentenced to four years New Jersey State Prison.

    She pled guilty on Aug. 6 to burglary, a third degree crime.

    Dec. 10

    Michael Perez-Ramos, 21, of New York, pled guilty to conspiracy to commit theft, a third degree crime.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Feb. 8.

    Ramos admitted that on Sept. 13, 2011, in the Township of Sparta he conspired with another to steal United States Treasury checks from mailboxes.
