Prudential Gross & Jansen offer short sale program
FRANKLIN — Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty recently launched its short sale program called SSP Advantage as part of its continued commitment to provide the very best service to its clients and customers through the difficult process involved with short sale transactions.
“The SSP Advantage program was immediately embraced by our sales associates and customers,” said Hans H. Gross, Broker/Owner of Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty. “This is a very difficult decision for many homeowners, and we are there to make it as stress free as possible for them.”
A short sale transaction is one in which the negotiated sales price is lower than the amount of the mortgage balance. Due to this price discrepancy, lender approval is required to release the difference from the mortgage obligation. Often, this is achieved while the homeowner still lives in their home.
An important part of the program is helping a home seller determine the best course of action based on their specific personal financial situation. Prudential's sales associates work directly with the home seller to gather the necessary paperwork and support documentation. An attorney is then assigned to work with the family providing legal counsel and guidance. The sales associate and the attorney work with the home seller throughout the process.
Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty will be offering public seminars on the ins and outs of buying and selling short sales and foreclosures through the SSP Advantage program in locations around Sussex County for home buyers and sellers to attend.
