Pizza fundraiser to benefit mental illness

HAMBURG — The GFWC Wallkill Valley Woman’s Club is hosting a dine-in fundraiser in the dining room of Tony’s Pizza Restaurant, 3336 Route 94, Mercantile Mall, Hamburg, on Friday, April 26 from 4 to 10 p.m.

The event will benefit NAMI-Sussex County, an affiliate of NAMI-NJ (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), a grassroots organization providing free help to families with loved ones suffering from mental illness.

The local NAMI affiliate offers a number of free programs, such as Family-to-Family, BASICS (for parents/guardians of children with mental illness), and In Our Own Voice, as well as educational programs and support groups.

The Wallkill Valley Woman’s Club, serving Hamburg, Hardyston, Franklin and Ogdensburg, is part of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC.
