Wallkill Valley Unplugged

HAMBURG — The Wallkill Valley High School music department held their annual Unplugged fundraiser at the high school last Friday evening. The annual event is organized to raise funds for the music department to help defray expenses for their equipment and trips.

Unplugged is a night for popular, acoustic music. The students play guitar, drums and piano to accompany each other and the songs are prepared completely by the students for performance. Participation in the evening is by audition. This year’s event was accented with a performance by most of the ensemble of “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” by Martina McBride, dedicated to all those who have suffered from any form of cancer.
