Celebrate Older Americans Month

BRANCHVILLE — Seniors are invited to celebrate Older Americans Day: Unleash the Power of Age on Friday, May 17 at Selective Insurance in Branchville from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This special event is sponsored by the Sussex County Department of Human Services, Division of Senior Services, Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, Newton Medical Center–Atlantic Health and Selective Insurance.

A continental breakfast, entertainment, informational displays, promotional give-a-ways, educational/life-enrichment programs, lunch and door prizes will be provided.

Educational sessions include MOVE Today by the Sussex County Division of Senior Services, Dance for Your Health with Dave by Dance Instructor David Cross, Senior Kaboodle by the Sussex County Department of Environmental and Public Health Services, Chair Tai Chi by Certified Tai Chi Instructor Pat Jones, and Fragrant Spring-Flowering Garden Favorites Throughout the Ages, by Master Gardener Lisa Chiarello.

Space is limited and pre-paid registration ($5 per person) is required.
