HARDYSTON — A normally full parking lot of weekend visitors overflowed into an adjacent field Saturday as the Cava Winery & Vineyard hosted the first Wine Women & Song Festival.
Music offerings were by area female artists and female-fronted bands that included Hillary Capps, Jenna Torres, Samia, Shelly Bhushan, and The Big Takeover.
Local businesses offering their services and products included Hamburg’s Farida’s Hair Salon and Hardyston’s Donna’s Boutique.
Although the event was planned to held primarily outside, a chillingly strong wind prompted many of the festival’s attendees to move into the winery's main room.
