Franklin approves property auctions

FRANKLIN — Franklin will conduct public auctions on May 27 for three lots that were donated to the borough.
The lots are located at 109-113 Munsonhurst Road (County Highway 517), or block 2702, lots 14, 15 and 16 on the Franklin Borough tax map.
The auction will take place at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Council at 7 p.m. May 27 at the Franklin Municipal Building, 2nd floor, 46 Main St. Two of the lots — 111 and 113 Munsonhurst Road — will be sold together at a minimum opening bid of $50,000 and 109 Munsonhurst Road will be auctioned by hitself with a minimum opening bid of $45,000.
In addition to the winning bid price, the bidder will pay $450 to the borough and 10 percent down at the time of the auction.
