I have a Mountain bike but I am using it on the road now. Is there a way to make it better and faster for the road?

There are a few things that we can do to the bike to make it a smoother faster ride on the road. First off, we will switch out tires. A nice smooth tire will help. They will also make it much safer. A smooth tire gives the bicycle makes the corners predictable and creates a consistent feel.

Next we would want to check you seat height. An optimal height makes you more efficient. We also want to address your handlebar position. Lowering them will give you more power to the pedal. Combined, these few changes will make a huge improvement, BUT there is nothing like a road bike.

Maybe it is time to have a second bike.
