    Stevern Werts, 22, of Franklin pleaded guilty to count one of an indictment handed up on Feb 5, 2013, charging him with endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the third-degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 27.

    May 5
    Jeffrey Lato, 28, of Netcong pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession with the intent to distirbute a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 13.

    He admitted to possessing at least 16 ounces of marijuana with the intent to distribute on Aug. 17, 2013 in Franklin. The matter was investigated by Franklin Detective N. Mattessich.

    Jake J. Rivera, 26, of North Bergen, pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of consipiracy to commit theft.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 13.

    He admitted to assisting another individual in the theft of a motor vehicle in Byram on Dec. 15, 2013. The matter was investigated by Byram Detective R. Tierney.

    May 9
    Andrew Irvine, 22, of Glenwood was sentenced to two years of probation, submit to a TASC evaluation, serve one day in the Sheriff's Labor Assistance Program, pay restitution to the victim and pay fines and penalties.

    Irvine admitted that on July 7 in Franklin Borough, he took a debit card and used it to withdraw money from the victim’s account through an ATM machine.

    Sean Williams, 25, of Hopatcong pleaded guilty to fourth-degree Title 9 Child Abuse.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 27.

    On March 11, 2013, he engaged in sexual contact with a minor.

    Michael E. Pelliccio, 28, of Jersey City pleaded guilty to the fourth-degree crime of possession of a device intended to be used to defraud a drug test.

    Sentencin is scheduled for June 27.

    He admitted that on Dec. 13, 2013, he had been directed by a Family Court Judge to be drug tested and that he possessed a bottle that contained a mixture of apple juice and water that he intended to use in order to defraud the test. The matter was investigated by Sussex County Sheriff’s Officer W. Ficacci.

    Michael Buffinton, 19, of Stockholm pleaded guilty to Title 9 Child Abuse.

    Sentencing is scheudled for June 27.

    On Oct. 25, 2013, in Sparta Township, he engaged in sexual conduct with a minor.

    James Moeller, 19, of Budd Lake pleaded guilty to fourth-degree harassment and was sentenced to 180 days in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility and $125 in fines.

    In January, he sent harassing messages to the victim.

    James E. Norman, 50, of Branchville pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of credit card fraud.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 27.

    He admitted that on Jan. 13 in Hampton Township, he used a credit card belonging to another person without authorization in order to obtain more than $200 in goods from Wal-Mart. The matter was investigated by New Jersey State Police Trooper M. Meehan.

    May 16
    Caleb W. Briggs, 21, of Stockholm was sentenced to three years of probation, 30 days in the county jail, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, a six-month loss of his driver's licnese and $1,220 in fines.

    He pleaded guilty on April 7, 2014, to the third-degree crime of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

    He admitted that on Oct. 5, 2013, he placed bags of heroin in a bathroom of the Villa Capri Restaurant in Sparta in exchange for money after an employee contacted him to purchase the heroin. The matter was investigated by Sparta Detective Jeffrey McCarrick.

    Bradford J. Nagy, 23, of Sussex Borough was sentenced to three years of probation, 32 days credit for time served in jail, $1,947 of restitution and $255 in fines.

    He pleaded guilty on Oct. 11, 2013, to two counts of third-degree possession of a rifle or shotgun without a permit. The matter was investigated by New Jersey State Trooper M. Buchell.
