    Grace Helen (Gross) Paulson, 82 of Hamburg passed away Monday June 9, 2014, just one week shy of her 83rd birthday. Grace was born in Paterson on June 16, 1931, to the late Charles and May (McNish) Gross. She resided in Hamburg for the past 9 years. Prior to that she had lived in Haskell and Paterson.

    Grace was employed over the years at Marcal, Arrow Sheet Metal and retired from Datascope Inc. in Oakland. She was a faithful Yankees fan. Grace loved to travel to the Jersey shore and Lancaster, Pa. Although, she often said her best vacation ever was the cruise to the Caribbean.

    In addition to her parents, grace was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Paul Paulson Jr.; a son, Donald Mattade; sisters, Helen Purdy and Helen Graoss and brothers, Roy, Charles and Edward Gross. She was the devoted mother of Dawn Inglis of Franklin and Glenn Paulson and his wife, Angela, of Little Falls; sister, Margaret Messina of Paterson; grandchildren, Cheryl Mattade and her fiancé, Eric Cardonell, of Ringwood and Sean and Hope Inglis of Franklin; great-grandson, Logan Cardonell of Ringwood as well as many nieces and nephews.

    A funeral service will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin. Interment will follow at Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Lakes. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the charity of your choice in Grace’s name.
