Angel Janulin, a student at Sussex Middle School, recently helped feed families in need.

For her sixth grade community service project, she conducted a food drive for Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Intervention Services. She helped fill DASI's food pantry with a wide variety of items collected from friends, family, and neighbors. The food goes out as fast as it comes in, according to DASI executive director Jamie Bernard, "so we are always grateful for this kind of donation."

DASI provides comprehensive services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and works to prevent interpersonal violence through prevention and community education programs. For more information, visit www.dasi.org or call 973-579-2386.
