    April 22
    Darryl Conklin, 29, of Ellenville, NJ, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery in Montague.

    Conklin admitted to robbing an employee of the Montague Lukoil on Feb. 19, 2012. This matter was investigated by the New Jersey State Police, Eastern Pike Regional Police Department of Pa. and The Port Jervis Police Department.

    Sentencing is scheduled for May 16.

    May 5
    Ali Memeti, 36, of Hamburg, New Jersey pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree prescription fraud.

    Memeti admitted to altering prescriptions to obtain Oxycodone from drug stores in Hamburg and Franklin during the time period from August until October.

    The matters were investigated by Hamburg and Franklin police detectives.

    Sentencing is scheduled in June.

    May 12
    Charles E. Bailey, 29, of Highland Lakes, New Jersey pleaded guilty to three counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Bailey admitted that on Nov. 1, 2013, he possessed 24 bags of heroin and three bags of crack in his pocket and waistband during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Vernon Police. He also admitted that on Feb. 25 he was in possession of 10 bags of heroin in his waistband when being processed at the Vernon Police Department.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 27.

    May 19
    Richard Joseph, 24, of Newton, pleaded guilty to third-degree conspiracy to commit theft.

    In January the defendant, along with two co-defendants, conspired to take purses from women’s shopping carts in the ShopRite parking lot in Newton.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 11.

    John S. Sickel, 32, of Andover, New Jersey pleaded guilty to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 7.

    Sickel admitted to possessing a number of Xanax and Klonopin pills that were found when he was remanded to jail from court on April 1. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office.

    May 20
    Edward Reilly, 43, of Wantage, was sentenced to four years of probation, 100 hours of community service, must successfully complete treatment program, one year loss of driver’s license and pay fines and penalties.

    Reilly admitted that on Dec. 22, in the Wantage while operating a motor vehicle he fled or attempted to elude a sheriff’s officer after having received a signal to bring his vehicle to a full stop. Reilly also admitted that on Dec. 16, 2012, in Wantage he was in possession of cocaine.

    May 23
    William H. Degroat, 36, of Sussex, New Jersey was sentenced to three years of probation to run concurrent to a Drug Court probationary term he is currently serving in Morris County.

    He was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,984.12, pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    Degroat pleaded guilty on April 7, to the fourth degree crime of criminal mischief.

    In pleading guilty, Degroat admitted to breaking the door of a post office in Wantage on Dec. 4, 2013, and causing approximately $1,900 in damage.

    Nina Stewart, 46, of Sparta, was sentenced to three years of probation, must submit to a TASC Evaluation and follow any and all recommendations, loss of her driver’s license for two years and pay fines and penalties.

    Stewart admitted that on April 3, in Sparta she was in possession of controlled dangerous substances.
