Residents celebrate Franklin Day

Held at Franklin Pond, the day started at 9 a.m. for fishing for the kids and was scheduled to come to a finale in a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. ï The day included Zumba lessons, Tai Chi classes, and car show at the parkís entrance, live music, a mechanical bull ride, horseback riding and a rock-climbing wall.

Isabelle Stecher, 10, of Franklin easily handled the crux move on the climbing wall before being lowered back to the ground.
