Residents celebrate Franklin Day

| 15 Jul 2014 | 01:56

With a deep blue sky and puffy clouds overhead, last Saturday was a perfect day for the annual Franklin Day festivities.

Held at Franklin Pond, the day started at 9 a.m. for fishing for the kids and was scheduled to come to a finale in a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. The day included Zumba lessons, Tai Chi classes, a car show at the park’s entrance, live music, a mechanical bull ride, horseback riding and a rock-climbing wall.
