Joseph McGlinch, 30, of Stroudsburg, Pa., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
He admitted to possessing five bags of heroin during the course of the investigation by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.
June 16
Robert Lutz, 32, of Franklin pleaded guilty to failure to notify change of address under Megan's Law, a fourth-degree crime, and failure to register under Megan's Law, a third-degree crime.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.
Andrew Fackrell, 22, of Hamburg pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.
In March, the defendant entered the Corner Deli in Hardyston yielding a knife and demanding money. He took approximately $370 from the deli during the robbery.
June 19
Edwin Garcia-Mahlon, 29, of Newton was indicted by the Sussex County Grand Jury on charges of making terroristic threats and possession of a weapon, both third-degree crimes.
The case was investigated by Ptl. Thomas Tosti of the Newton Police Department.
Troy McKinney, 45, of Newton was indicted by the Sussex County Grand Jury on charges of being a certain person not to have weapons, a second-degree crime.
The case was investigated by Det. G. Dellagicoma of the New Jersey State Police.
Major Morgan, 39, of Stillwater was indicted by the Sussex County Grand Jury on charges of violating a community supervision for life, a third-degree crime.
The case was investigated by Det. Kimberly Baeli of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Kevin Rios, 32, of Sparta was indicted by the Sussex County Grand Jury on charges of attempted aggravated assault, a second-degree crime, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with significant bodily injury and possession of a weapon, all third-degree crimes.
The case was investigated by Det. Keith Hannam of the Sparta Police Department.
June 23
Randell Kubik, 29, of Patterson pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession with intent to distribute heroin and to a motor-vehicle ticket for having tinted windows.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.
He admitted that on May 21, he obtained and possessed heroin in Newton with the intent to sell it to third parties. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.
Frank Cupo, 27, of Clifton pleaded guilty to theft, a third-degree crime.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.
Cupo admitted that on April 10, 2013, in the township of Sparta, he entered a garage and stole power tools and a generator.
Becky Charbonneau, 30, of Newton pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 5.
She admitted that on Feb. 28, 2013, in Newton, she possessed five bags of heroin. The matter was investigated by members of the Sussex County Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force.
June 23
Sonny R. Delacruz, 30, of Franklin pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and motor-vehicle tickets for use of a handheld device while driving, driving with a suspended license and operating under the influence.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.
He admitted that on March 14, in Wantage he possessed 15 bags of heroin on his person, that he was driving under the influence of heroin and his license had been suspended, and that he was using a cell phone while driving during the course of a motor vehicle stop by New Jersey State Trooper R. Peterson.
June 27
Stephen Werts, 22, of Franklin was sentenced to a year of probation, credit for 787 days served, fees and fines.
Werts pleaded guilty on May 2 to one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the third degree.
Markus Brown, 28, of Irvington was sentenced to 12 years in state prison, subject to NERA with 935 days credit for time served.
Brown pleaded guilty on Jan. 29 to first-degree armed robbery and second-degree persons not to possess firearms.
Brown and his co-defendant, Charles Puryear, were arrested by the New Jersey State Police on Dec. 4, 2011, in Wantage for a robbery that occurred that date at the Rolling Hills Motel.
This case was investigated by the New Jersey State Police and Sussex County Prosecutors Office.
