Space presentation planned at refuge

    Grace Casalino of the Skylands Astronomy Club will give a presentaiton at the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge to provide answers to questions regarding space.

    As an added bonus, attendees can hold a piece of “space rock” in their hands. After the presentation, members of Skylands Astronomy Club will have telescopes available for guests to observe the moon, planets and other deep sky objects.

    The free program is suitable for all ages. It will be held on refuge property at 136 Owens Station Road in Vernon.
