| 12 Aug 2014 | 01:35

The Ogdensburg Historical Society will host a buffet dinner in honor of the town's upcoming centennial celebration. The dinner will be held at the Ogdensburg Firehouse on Saturday, Aug. 23, and starts at 6:30 p.m.

The cost is $25 per person, and there will also be a cash bar.

With catering by Villa Capri II, offerings include hors d'oeuvres, prime rib, stuffed shrimp and the restaurant's signature chicken Villa Capri.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and residents outside of Ogdensburg are also welcome.

Ogdensburg memorabilia will be offered as door prizes, and the evening will serve somewhat as the "unofficial kick-off" to the town's 100th anniversary celebration (taking place Saturday, Sept. 20).
