The mountain bike races continued Sunday at Mountain Creek with more than 100 male and female competitors.

The event was the second Jamis H2H Series Summer Scramble XC Race. The racecourse was at the top of the mountain and included trails that passed by two mountaintop lakes. Several new trails were cut specifically for the race.

Features of the trails included single-track sections, short climbs, some technical rocky sections, double wide passing areas and everything in between including a final-climb “Rock Garden” near the finish line. Spectators were given free access to the races and were whisked up and down the mountain in the cabriolet lift.
