Thomas N. 'Red' Roberts

Thomas N. “Red” Roberts, 81, died Wednesday Aug. 20, 2014, at Newton Medical Center. Mr. Roberts, son of the late William and Florence (Perry) Roberts was born in Ogdensburg June 22, 1933. He was a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg.

Mr. Roberts was a self-employed carpenter retiring in 1994.

He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth “Sis” Roberts in 2004 and a son Terry Roberts in 2006. Mr. Roberts is survived by four children, Diana Szanyi of Wantage, Linda Sisco of Kissimmee, Fla., Thomas J. Roberts of Newton and Kelly Kuchtyn of Ogdensburg; brother, Norman “Nick” Roberts of Ogdensburg; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday August 23, 2014, at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin, NJ from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Cremation will be private.
