Jefferson Recreation schedules Radio City trip

    The Jefferson Township Recreation Dept. on Friday, Nov. 7, for a performance of the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.

    There will be time to sightsee before the 5 p.m. performance. The Jefferson Township School District also will be closed for the N.J. Education Association Convention.

    The show will offer a 3D ride through the skies of New York with Santa, and be whisked up to the North Pole, as state-of-the-art technology transforms Radio City Music Hall into a magical, immersive wonderland. From a unique take on ”The Nutcracker” to the Hall’s original, “Here Come Santa Claus,” the show delights with Clara, ice skaters, dancing teddy bears, dozens of Santa Clauses and more surprises.

    Tickets will cost $77 per person and include reserved orchestra seating, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity. Two buses will leave the Jefferson Township Middle School parking lot, 1000 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge, N.J., and one bus will leave the Rockaway Townsquare Mall (outer parking lot by Poles #13–18 by Muldoon’s Steakhouse, 301 Mt. Hope Road - Macy’s lower level) at 8:30 a.m. sharp and depart from NYC immediately after the show.

    In-person payments and telephone credit card reservations will be immediately confirmed at the Jefferson Township Recreation Department office, located at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong at Camp Jefferson between 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays from 8 AM to 3 PM. Reservations made by mail with a personal check or money order are subject to availability. All checks should be made payable to the Township of Jefferson, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold. MasterCard, VISA, and Discover credit cards accepted by phone or in person incur a 2.45 percent surcharge to cover bank processing fees.
