Driver charged after probe into crash

    An Andover man faces charges after Franklin police concluded an investigation into a May 12 accident in which a pedestrian wa struck by an automobile and sustained serious bodily injury.

    Jason L. Wagoner, 36, was charged with driving while under the influence, driving with a suspended driver's license, and driving with no liability insurance on the day of the crash.

    Police said, after an investigation, Wagoner also was charged with assault by auto (reckless driving), a fourth-degree crime and assault by auto (driving while impaired), a third-degree crime.

    Wagoner was arrested with the assitance of Andover Township police on Sept. 4 at about 11 a.m. He was sent to the Sussex County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
