If I've had prior neck or back surgery can I go to the Chiropractor?

Only a comprehensive examination and history will determine if you are eligible to receive Chiropractic care post surgery. In my 20 years of experience I have found that most patients can receive Chiropractic care following a surgery. There are many different forms of Chiropractic treatment or Adjustments that can adapt to each unique situation.
Chiropractic care can also help aid in the healing process as well. Depending upon the type of surgery there usually is an alteration or change in the bio-mechanics of the joint involved and that is where gentle Chiropractic treatments can help facilitate normal motion back into the surrounding joints much like physical therapy. I hope that helps.
