Stella H. Fredericks

Stella H. Fredericks(nee Ross), 90 years old, died after a long illness at Milford Manor Nursing Home, West Milford, N.J., on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014. Born Aug. 4, 1924, to Charles and Phoebe Ross of Stockholm, N.J., she was the youngest of 8 children and a lifelong resident of Stockholm, N.J.

Stella was a dedicated homemaker, a doting wife, mother and grandmother. Stella was a longtime member of the Stockholm United Methodist Church.

Stella was predeceased by her husband, Levick Fredericks (1982) and was the devoted mother of Gordon and Michael Fredericks of Oak Ridge, N.J., and Elaine Hickerson and her husband, William, of Hardyston Twp., N.J. Loving grandmother of James Hickerson and his wife, Linda, of Powder Springs, Ga., Heather Hickerson and her husband, Michael Killian of New Orleans, La., and Jason Hickerson of Fairbanks, Ark. Cherished great grandmother of Bryce, Sara, Tyler and Mark Hickerson of Powder Springs, Ga.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 10 to 11 a,m.
