    Sept. 8
William Jamieson, 51, of Hamburg was charged with three counts of theft by deception.

Police said a representative of Willow Grove Trucking reported multiple unauthorized withdrawals from the company's secured bank account. Police said the alleged transactions occurred at a bank in Franklin.

Police said Jamieson is alleged to have made or attempted to make unauthorized withdrawals from a bank in Franklin between Aug. 1 and 7 from Willow Grove Trucking's accounts.

Jamieson is awaiting an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.

    Sept. 15
Jackie Degraaf, 29, of Sparta was charged with the unlicensed practice of medicine and attempting to obtain a prescription legend drug by fraud or deception.

Police said they responded to North Country Pharmacy to a report of a woman attempting to obtain a prescription legend drug fraudulently. Police said they were told the pharmacy received a suspicious phone call from a physician's office requesting a specific prescription. Police said the pharmacy called the physician's office, which reported no such prescription was requested.

Police said Degraaf was allegedly waiting for the prescription to be filled. Police said Degraaf allegedly contacted the pharmacy as an authorized representative of a local physician's office, ordered a prescription and attempted to retrieve the same prescription a short time later.

Degraaf was sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
