RoNetco Supermarkets have recently announced the launch of a Registered Dietitian program.

RoNetco Supermarkets will join more than 100 ShopRite supermarkets that have embarked on Wakefern’s retail dietitian program since its implementation in 2006.

“Partnering with health and nutrition professionals strengthens our commitment to ShopRite’s Purpose of “Caring Deeply about People, Helping Them to Eat Well and Be Happy," said Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dominick J. Romano said. "This has become a vital part of the fabric of the communities we serve by providing the highest quality food and working together to ensure nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards."

In-store dietitians will guide and counsel customers and associates on a range of issues, from learning how to shop and prepare healthy meals, to proper nutrition for specific health conditions and dietary needs.

“One size does not fit all…we are all unique.., so having registered dieticians among us who are capable of assessing individual nutritional needs, implementing dietary-care plans and offering nutritional counseling are services that can prove mutually beneficial for all,” said Paul Voitek, Supervisor for Pharmacy Operations at The program will be implemented by Oct. 1.
