Barbara Jean Radvansky

    Barbara Jean (Dolsay) Radvansky, 73, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, with her family at her side. Mrs. Radvansky, daughter of the late Richard and Geraldine (Kelly) Dolsay, was born in Franklin, April 20, 1941. She has been a lifelong resident of Sussex County and a resident of Franklin since 1962.

    Mrs. Radvansky was a dispatcher for Region Oil Co. of Franklin for 15 years, retiring in 1996. Previous to Region Oil Co., she was a secretary at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp. and Stauffer Hewitt Co. in Franklin. Mrs. Radvansky was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Magie Chapter No. 278. She loved country music and the study of her family geneology.

    Mrs. Radvansky was predeceased by her husbands, Eugene Radvansky and Warren “Pat” Rude and her brother, Richard Dolsay Jr. She is survived by her son, Stephen Radvansky and his wife, Leila, of Shaker Heights, Ohio; sister, Patricia Rioch and her husband, Duncan, of Shortsville, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Patricia (Haas) Dolsay of Florida and may extended family members and friends. The family wishes to especially thank, Agnes, her special care giver.

    A memorial service will be held at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin, on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
