    Sept. 3
    Deane Tenzi, 44, of Franklin was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous subsgtance, having hypodermic needles and drug paraphernaliaa.

    Police said they met Tenzi while investigating another matter and during the meeting police said Tenzi was alleged to be in possession of heroin, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia.

    Police said he also was found ot have an outstanding arrest warrant from DEnville and Woodbridge, totalling $2,000.

    Tenzi was sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $11,500 bail with no 10 percent option to the outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions.

    Sept. 17
    Elizabeth A. Daddas, 44, of Stillwater was charged with theft after Franklin police looked into a theft on Aug. 23 at a borough residence.

    Franklin detectives investigated the theft of jewelry described as a jade bracelet, a jade necklace, white zircon stones, red zircon stones, and prescription medication.

    Police said while she was taken into custody in Stillwater, she was found to be in possession of some of the stolen jewelry.

    She was sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

    Sept. 22
    Kristen Depue, 19, of Hamburg and Nicholas Barrise, 19, of Franklin were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of a controlled dangerous substance after a motor vehicle stop on Route 23 near McDonald's.

    During the stop, police conducted an investigation, and allegedly found Depue, 19, of Hamburg and a passenger Nicholas Barrise, 19, of Franklin both in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.

    Depue also was charged with numerous motor vehicle offenses.

    They were processed and released pending a court appearance.
