Franklin swears in new police officer

FRANKLIN — The Scottish lilt of the bagpipes lingered throughout the Franklin Borough Municipal Building in honor of their newest the borough's newest police officer, David Schneider.
As is the Franklin Police Department tradition, Patrolman Jeff Korger played the bagpipes as Schneider's fellow officers accompanied him at the Franklin Borough Council meeting on September 23rd.
Municipal Clerk Robin Hough swore in Schneider while his wife and children gathered with him.
