Scholarship applications available for college

NEWTON — Sussex County Community College has more than 100 scholarships that are available to students and incoming students ranging from $250 to $2,000 for the Spring 2015 semester.

The scholarships are available through the SCCC Foundation.

Applications are available online at www.sussex.edu/scholarships and in the college's Counseling and Advising Center.

To apply for a scholarship, students must complete a scholarship application packet in addition to submitting a personal essay. Students are also required to provide a letter of recommendation in support of their candidacy.

Students should return their completed application to the Counseling and Advising Center, Administration Building, Room B206 by Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m.
