AmeriCorps positions available at nonprofit

    — Pass It Along, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) youth volunteer organization, is seeking self-starting, highly motivated individuals with various academic backgrounds to "Be The Change" as AmeriCorps Program Associates for the 2014-15 service year.

    Primary responsibilities
    Support programming, annual events, high school chapters, and fundraisers for all Pass it Along initiatives and outreach.

    Collaborate with full-time and part-time staff, other AmeriCorps members, interns, volunteers, and community partners to implement programming, and innovate in support of Pass It Along goals and objectives.

    A strong skill set in marketing and technical development and implementation is preferred.

    Document service through photo, video and blog posts; promote PIA through use of social media platforms. Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram necessary; Google+, and YouTube/Vimeo proficiency preferred; assist PIA volunteers and volunteer leaders with program support and assist in office resource management efforts.

    Education Requirements
    High School Diploma or GED. College students and recent graduates are strongly preferred.

    Also must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evening hours and occassional weekends.

    These positions are part time, requiring members to serve 900 hours or full time requiring members to serve 1,700 hours over the course of the program year.
