SPARTA — The Sparta Spartans used five touchdown passes from quarterback Anthony Argula and a 56 point first hald to roll past High Point Regional Saturday 56-0.
Argula continued his hot play, throwing for 296 yards on 13 of 19 passing, moving the Spartans to 5-1 on the season.
Wide receiver Teddy Fischer was on the receiving end of two of those Sparta scores.
Dylan Faner, Skyler Francisco, Dean Gennat and Alex Miliken each caught a touchdown pass for Sparta.
On the defensive side of the ball, players Thomas Bais and Michael Bomensatt each recorded a sack in the rout.
High Point fell to 0-6 on the season following the loss.
The game took place at Cassels Memorial Field in Sparta.
