Twenty students from the Ogdensburg School participated in the third annual Green Apple Day of Service on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the school.

It was the only school in Sussex County to participate in this day. Green Apple Day is a global movement from the center of green Schools to acknowledge the importance of having a healthy sustainable learning environment.

The students cleaned up the environment by collecting trash left on school grounds.

Ogdensburg School is working hard with their Green team led by Michelle Cooper and Claudia Lenscak to promote green initiatives in the school.
