    Bernice Gunderman, 78, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Franklin to the late William and Mabel (Lutes) Talmadge, Bernice had lived in Franklin all of her life. She had been employed as a bus driver for DW Clark in Stockholm for more than 10 years and retired in March 2009. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Gunderman, Sr. on August 8, 2014 and her son-in-law, Walter Dennis on November 29, 2003. Bernice is survived by her son, Joseph Gunderman, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Franklin; her daughters, Jeanette Keiser and her companion, Richard, of Franklin, Karen Brunell and her companion, John, of Franklin, and Sharon Dennis of Hamburg; her brother, William Talmadge and his wife, Linda, of Franklin; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
