Family appreciative for support

No words can express the sadness our family has endured in the last two weeks. Although the tragedy of losing our son and brother will never leave our hearts and minds, our community has wrapped their arms around us. We are overwhelmed and awed by the love, support and compassion our family, friends, colleagues, neighbors and community have shown us. The outpouring of flowers, sympathy and mass cards, food and financial support has brought comfort to our hearts.

There are so many people we would like to acknowledge. We would like to thank several businesses in our community that made it easier to get through two of the hardest days of our lives. These include Red Neck Catering, Irish Cottage, Tuscany Brew House, Lori’s Grooming, and the Franklin Fire Department. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Immaculate Conception Church and F. John Ramsey Funeral Home for the services. Our family at Franklin Elementary School and Wallkill Valley Regional High School has also shown us how lucky we are to belong to this community. We are grateful for all the donations made to Park Bench Group Foundation as well as online contributions made in our George’s name. In addition, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the repast, paid their condolences and prayed for us during this difficult time.

We are truly blessed to live in a town where the outpouring of love and support is like no other. Our family and friends were truly amazed by the overwhelming response of the heartfelt sympathy displayed over this tragic time.

With all our love and appreciation.
