    Oct. 20
    Trevor Curren, 28, of Lafayette, pleaded guilty to third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 19.

    In July the defendant was found to be in possession of six bags of heroin in his vehicle.

    Stacy J. Peer, 22, of Hamburg, pleaded guilty to third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a violation of probation.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 5.

    The defendant was found to be in possession of heroin, wax folds and numerous hypodermic needles that were found in her room at her Hamburg home by a family member.

    Deane Tenzi, 45, of Franklin, pleaded guilty to third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for later this year.

    The defendant hid his heroin and hypodermic needles in the home of a friend while attending a party. The defendant admitted to ownership of the items when questioned by Franklin Police.

    Oct. 23
    Gabor Szilagyi, 51, of Sparta, pleaded guilty to count one of an indictment charging that on October 2, 2011 he operated a motor vehicle during a license suspension, while suspended or revoked for a second or subsequent violation of NJSA 39:40-50 , a crime of the fourth degree.

    Szilagyi also pleaded guilty to a summons charging him with driving while under the influence on October 2, 2011 in violation of NJSA 39:4-50.

    The matter was investigated by the Sparta Township Police Department. Sentencing scheduled for January 9th, 2015.

    A juvenile, who appeared before the Honorable Michael P. Wright, J.S.C. at the Sussex

    County Courthouse in Newton was sentenced.

    The juvenile pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child a crime of the third degree. He was adjudicated a juvenile delinquent by the court.

    The juvenile, 13, was sentenced to three years of probation, must follow all recommendations of evaluations, have no contact with the victim, have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of fourteen, undergo random drug testing, submit a DNA sample and register for Megan’s Law.

    In March of 2014 the juvenile did commit an act of sexual abuse upon a younger victim.

    Oct. 24
    Connelly, age 24, of Sussex, was sentenced to three years of probation, given credit for 102 days, comply with IOP, six months loss of her driver’s license and pay fines and penalties.

    Connelly admitted that on Nov. 5, 2013, in the Township of Sparta she was in possession of Heroin.

    Sept. 2
    John Ventres, 34, of Stanhope, pleaded guilty to forgery, a third degree crime.

    Ventres admitted that on December 12, 2013, in the Borough of Hopatcong, he forged a check belonging to another person.
