Attorney to expand practice to debtors' rights

Attorney Bill Mack has recently expanded his practice to include debtors' rights and bankruptcy.

“Bankruptcy can offer a person the chance to get financial affairs in order and make a fresh start toward a better life,” Mack said, “and I would be happy to discuss options so clients can learn more about their situation and make the best decision.”

He offers free consultations to prospective clients, and will meet locally with clients for an initiation consultation.

“It’s important to maintain the confidentiality of the client’s circumstances and to treat each client with respect, since they are usually very stressed by their financial situation,” Mack said.

In addition to the new services, the firm also handles matters in Business Law, Residential Real Estate, and Commercial Real Estate. Mack has practiced law in New Jersey since 2006. Before that, he was in business, working in the independent electric power generation and retails fields. He started his legal career as an associate in a large firm in Philadelphia, moving up to partner.

“My background is somewhat unusual, since I’ve spent about equal time as an attorney and a business executive," Mack said. "Since I have experience as the consumer of legal services in my business career, I know how it feels to seek advice from an attorney. I think this makes me more empathetic with my clients when it comes to giving legal advice and providing real solutions.”

In addition to legal work, Mack is active in the New Jersey legal community. He is the immediate past Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the New Jersey Bar Association, and is currently a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Ad Hoc Committee on Attorney Malpractice Insurance. He is also a member of the District X-A Ethics Committee.
