— A fundraiser is being planned in honor of Corporal Bryon Dickson and Trooper Alex Douglass.

All are invited to the Pike Proud charity fundraiser to be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Dingman Township Firehouse, 680 Log Tavern Road.

On Sept. 12, Dickson was killed and Douglass was seriously wounded when the alleged shooter, Eric Matthew Frein, opened fire on the Blooming Grove police barracks. All proceeds will benefit the families of the troopers.

Tickets are $30 and include a New York Strip steak dinner with a baked potato, salad and dessert. Other activities will include silent auction, raffles, T-shirt sale, and much more. Silent auction items, raffle items, tricky tray items and door prizes are still being accepted. Beverages will be provided but attendees also have the option to bring their own bottles.

Limited tickets are available for sale beginning Nov. 13 at Independence Hardware, Route 739, Dingmans Ferry; and at Luhrs Hardware, Harford Street, Milford.

Doors will open at 5 p.m., and dinner will begin at 6 p.m.

Sponsors for the event include Prime Time Meats, Davis R. Chant, Niki Jones Agency and Charles Kannebecker Esq.

Gold, silver and bronze sponsorships are still available. To donate or become a sponsor call Kelly Gaughan at 570-296-8844, or Thomas Earl Mincer at 570-296-3700.
