| 20 Nov 2014 | 11:15

Twenty-six members of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America and 10 students from the accounting class participated in a mini-assembly in recognition of American Enterprise Day.

Brad Carlson, gave a presentation of his experiences as a former Wallkill Valley student, an FBLA local and state officer, a student at Marywood College, and his career path to his current position in digital marketing at Bayer Healthcare.

American Enterprise Day is celebrated nationally on Nov. 15 by FBLA Phi Beta Lambda. As the vocational student organization designated to communicate the free enterprise message, the celebration of this day provides a vehicle for interaction between FBLA-PBL members and the community. Since the date fell on the weekend, the chapter recognized this event on Nov. 14.
