College to host book reading, signing

    — The Sussex County Community College’s Betty June Silconas Poetry Center will be hosting a reading and book signing for David Crews’ first collection, Circadian Rhythm published by The Paulinskill Poetry Project, a sussex county small press.

    The reading and booking signing will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Art Gallery on the SCCC campus.

    The event is open to the public.

    Crews’ poems have appeared in The Southeast Review, Berkeley Poetry Review, The Carolina Quarterly, Wisconsin Review, Paterson Literary Review, and others. Essays found in Adanna Literary Journal and SPECTRUM.

    He has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Crews received an M.F.A. in Poetry from Drew University, serves as managing editor for The Stillwater Review, and both teaches and lives in northwest New Jersey.
