Ogdensburg Elmentary School hosted an open house on Nov. 18, and played host to 90 families.

Ogdensburg borough residents were invited to meet with the members from the Ogdensburg Elementary School Board of Education, teachers and the administration. A range of the students' work also was displayed for the community to see. Some of the students' exceptional work was shown, such as research projects, book reports, woven baskets, persuasive writing, habitat dioramas and many other works.

Members from the Ogdensburg Board of Education that attended the open house were Lynne Pederson and Mary Fitzgibbons.

Information sessions for choice school families were given by Superintendent Ernest Palestis. Supervisor of Instruction Michelle Telischak and Assistant Principal Stephanie Bonaparte discussed positive discipline and PARCC with parents.
