Lakeland Bank kicks off Share-A-Gift program

    Lakeland Bank kicked off its annual Share-A-Gift program on Nov. 29.

    All branch locations will partner with local charities to collect gifts for members of the community who need extra support and cheer during the holiday season.

    “Lakeland Bank has a 45-year tradition of giving back to the communities it serves, and it is important to continue these efforts during the holidays,” said Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank. “It’s heartwarming to see colleagues and customers come together to bring happiness to those coping with challenging situations.”

    For many years, Lakeland Bank colleagues have been at the helm of the Bank’s charity drives, donating their time and contributing gifts to ensure that they are a success. Anyone wishing to participate can take an ornament and return to the branch with a gift for the individual described on the ornament tag.

    Each Lakeland Bank office will collect the donated presents and then distribute the gifts through the local charity organization.
