the students at the Rev. Brown School participated in a community walk for the Aemrican Diabetes Association and raised more than $1,500 in November.

The Kids Take Action Club is supporting the Season of Hope toy drive, the Sussex County Food drive, and to benefit the homeless they are collecting travel-sized toiletries for the Bridges of Books foundation.

The Kids Take Action Club is a service club made up of students in grades three through seven at Rev. Brown School in Sparta.

The club moderators are Patricia Quinn and Rebecca Masone, teachers at Rev. Brown School, who encourage students to take action to better the community through service to others.

For more information, visit an open house at the school at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 or call 973-729-9174.
