The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and flood watch for tonight through Wednesday for Orange County, NY, Pasaic County and Sussex County, NJ.

Frezing rain and snow are expected to begin Monday into Tuesday morning, beginning around midnight. Accumulation of up to an inch of snow is possible as well as about one-tench of an inch of freezing rain according to Gary Conte, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

On Tuesday, rain is expected to be heavy at times while temperatures rise during the day to the upper 30's.

After midnight, that rain will turn to snow, Conte said. A half inch of snow is expected to fall by Wednesday morning. That will turn into rain during the day on Wednesday, Conte said.
