Lenoard W. Gunderman, Sr.

Leonard W. Gunderman, Sr., was born Nov. 16, 1940. He was born and raised in Franklin, where he remained until Dec. 8, 2014, where he died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Gunderman was enlisted in the U.S. Army Sept. 8, 1961, and served until Sept. 7, 1967, with an honorable discharge. He was married June 27, 1964, to Patricia Falbo of Passaic County. They shared 50 years of marriage and raised four children.

Mr. Gunderman leaves behind his wife Patricia Gunderman of Franklin, a son Leonard W. Gunderman, Jr. of Franklin, a daughter, Faith Gunderman of Pennsylvania, a son, Scott Gunderman of Howell, N.J., and a daughter, Patricia Gunderman of Sparta, N.J., as well as 9 grandchildren, Lenny, Scotty, Ashley, Samantha, Danny, Tyler, Casey, Ricky, and Kameron and three great grandchildren, Jayden, Leo, and Aubree.

Mr. Gunderman comes from a family of 12. He has seven surviving siblings and 4 deceased.
